IGNIBRUM present at the 5th ECMWF–ESA Machine Learning Workshop in Bologna.

Miami, FL.— In April 2026, Bologna will host the 5th ECMWF–ESA Machine Learning Workshop, focused on how artificial intelligence is helping to protect planet Earth.

Organized by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) and the European Space Agency (ESA), the event will bring together researchers, engineers, and experts from around the world to explore how AI technologies are transforming weather prediction, data assimilation, and the development of digital twins of the planet.

Key themes include hybrid physical–ML systems, GPU/TPU-based high-performance computing (HPC) architectures, and emerging trends in quantum and neuromorphic computing applied to climate science and Earth observation.

IGNIBRUM – International Space Systems & Robotics will participate in this international forum as part of the technological ecosystem driving the application of artificial intelligence, advanced engineering, and digital innovation in support of scientific knowledge and global sustainability.
